how do i run windows xp as a vm on linux or vice versa?
#1

I am doing a project with my friend, and i need a program on Linux and on Windows XP and i can't run them at the same time. I was wondering if there was any way i could boot Windows off of the drive instead of switching back and forth, taking up to ten minutes at a time.

Thanks!

if you are already dual booting then you can boot into xp and run Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 sp1 or use Sun's Virtual machine, and then have a linux vm within windows, or do it the way i suggested, i'm not really following your issue... if you have xp already and already have fedora then you will need to have a virtual machine on one of them to do what you want
