GNOME problems.

I just downloaded Redhat 9 the other day, so I'm new to this. When I log into Redhat, It gives me an error that says GNOME won't load properly. Does anyone know how to fix it?

more than likely you have to specify your monitor and video card correctly otherwise X (gnome) won't start

 

if you can get to a console type

 

redhat-config-xfree86 and specify the options correctly
