linux-noob.com is now running on linux (was on windows 2003 ent ed server)
seems my SERVER #1 also timed out, so it was just as well that i got mysql/apache/php compiled on SERVER #2 in time....
ive exported everything to SERVER #2 and the site may have some non-working links etc over the coming days while i re-arrange things and get to understand apache...
heres to our continues success !

Though I'm new to "Noobs", (10 minutes), I like what I see. I've recommended my Linux noobs to check the site out.
