i've added an RSS feed to linux-noob.com
#1

dudes, as we are in 2005, i thought it's about time to have something cool added to the forums, so ive messed around with the code and added an RSS feed, its still experimental but appears to work fine

in FireFox, you'll see a symbol in the bottom right hand corner

(see small pic)

click on that and let it add the linux-noob.com RSS feed to firefox.

you should end up with your bookmarks updating themselves automatically as follows:-

enjoy !

cheers

fyi (if you have invision boards and want to add RSS feed to them also)

Code:
<link TITLE="linux-noob RDF" HREF="//www.linux-noob.com/forums/ssi.php?a=out&f=14&show=10&type=rss" TYPE="application/rss+xml">

adding the above code to your HTML wrappers (ADMIN CP) will RSS feed from topic 14 (how do i sectioj of linux-noob.com)

change f=1 to point it to the general chat section

adding RSS capability to IPB forums is documented here [/url][url=http://docs.invisionpower.com/kb/article.php?id=213]http://docs.invisionpower.com/kb/article.php?id=213
