Linking the /dev/mouse to your USB didnt work.. so try altering the: Code: Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice" See how it goes?

it wasnt the linking at all what happened was this, when i reconfigured X via sax to correctly support my resolution, it re-wrote my xorg.conf and deleted all references to the logitech usb mouse. luckily it saved a backup copy of my xorg.conf in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.sax and that had the references to the usb mouse copying that back fixed my usb mouse issue. i'll reserve my judgement of sax/yast/yast2 until suse 10, but let's just say that i think suse needs a bit of work. more info https://www.linux-noob.com/review cheers anyweb

anyweb I belive SuSE 10 say they have fixed all little bugs so this issue may not arise in SuSE 10 have you tryed the Beta? 4 CD so I though I would give it skip. |
