if the modem is a winmodem (most likely on a laptop) then you may have trouble getting it to work in linux however, that said check for your make/model here [/url]http://www.linmodems.org/ in addition checkout to see if someone else has already conquered your problems with your laptop here [url=http://www.linux-laptop.net/]http://www.linux-laptop.net/ cheers anyweb

Hello, I have just installed Fedora Core 4 on a Dell Inspiron 9400 (Duo Core, craphics card Intel 945GM, 1920x1200). However, X does not work. Or may be my xorg.conf is incorrect. Please advise!
