I have just started experimenting with Unix-based systems and need some step-by-step assistance.
I have performed a minimal installation of Fedora Core 2 on some old Pentium-II computers. I then used Yum to download the latest xfce desktop environment. However, when the computer boots, xfce does not load up automatically. I am also unable to start xfce from the command prompt.
What changes do I need to make in order to have xfce load properly on startup?
