I'm taking votes for the next topic and edition of Ask Ritter. So far the only vote I have is for "fun things to do in linux".

Come on people!! Let's work this. Please post replies to this thread and offer your suggest of what you'd like to hear me ramble on about. :)

How about:

1. A step by step guide to installing and configuring a completely wireless home using a dsl connection, Fedora (or insert your favorite distribution here), a wireless router or use the linux box as a wireless router, a wireless printer, a 2nd and 3rd machine (possibly windows) that live somewhere in the house away from the linux box. Be sure to include a reasonable firewall with port forwarding to one of the internal machines.

or

2. A step by step guide to installing and configuring VOIP in Linux. Pick your favorite VIOP service.

i mean i want it to work in an easy to manage 'package' like smoothwall

thats what i mean, have you ever tried smoothwall ? its really cool, one webpage to admin everything, loads of logging ability, and you can ssh in and do it all by CLI if you want to

cheers
