Linux Fedora Download install??

Hi all.

 

Im first time "user" of Linux, or i will use linux and an friend told me that i should get Fedora, but i don't know where to download it, and how to install it.

 

Plz help at linux-noob. :)

choose a location nearest to you for fastesxt download speeds

 

then download the following files

 

File: FC3-i386-disc1.iso 631824 KB 11/03/2004 10:05:00 PMFile: FC3-i386-disc2.iso  652852 KB  11/03/2004  10:07:00 PM

File: FC3-i386-disc3.iso  651854 KB  11/03/2004  10:08:00 PM

File: FC3-i386-disc4.iso  395278 KB  11/03/2004  10:10:00 PM

 

check your MD5sum's before burning the iso's

 

once done, burn the iso's insert cd1 and start installing

You'll need a iso burner. I recommend Alcohol 120%.

 

Then you need to know how you want to install it.

Are you going to run Windows on the same machine or just Linux?

 

You may need to change your BIOS settings see HERE
