	 which bit is that? just running the nameserver? try: Code: # /etc/init.d/named start

	 well here is the deal. I have my named.conf file that is copied from that tutorial as well as the palazz.cc file i created in the /named folder I can ping ns1.palazzi.cc and it returns the right ip however if you do an ns lookup it wont find any nameservers if you do a whois it has the right nameservers registered. any ideas? thanks all! |
