HTTP_REFERER anti spam

Well I though I would share this with people, I been looking at apache modules and stumbled into the following:

 

mod_antispam

 

I know anyweb was having these types of problems, well there is now a cool easy solution :)

I love his current blacklist too, looks familiar

 

only problem is, it's for apache 2.x

 

and i'm 1.x

Interesting idea but surely there is tools for this already without the need for a module?
