all i did was take an old config they are usually in /boot some distros call it like /boot/config-kernelversion then i downloaded 2.6.17 cp /boot/config-kernelversion .config in the new kernel source in /usr/src/linux and compiled the kernel. I believe the big change was in USB Mass Storage Support |
