just as a note... mirror.ac.uk went through a bit of difficulty in funding recently and Kent Uni was worried about the possiblity of it disappearing (afaik this hasn't been resolved) anyway, around this time mirrorservice.org turned up, mirrorservice was JISC taking action to ensure that the mirror been provided by Kent Uni didn't just vanish with no replacement. The service that mirror.ac.uk provides will die (or has?) and mirrorservice.org will become the permant home for the mirror service. The rates I have achieved on from them have been huge (as you've seen), so needless to say all my downloads are from them :)
