Hi, welcome to the Linux world! I would advise that you upgrade to F11. This is because of the way that Redhat release Fedora. Only one version back is given support, that means F9 is just out of support. So any issues with RPMs et al would probably be ignored by the developers. Saying that if you are just entering the Linux world you might find that using F9 is more than good enough for playing around with.
