deleting unnecessary files - mvkunte - 2008-08-15 hi, i use linux ( generally fedora )in my institute where every student is given a fixed quota of files. My files are well within the size limit but are exceeding the number limit. While the files that I actually use are only a very small number, the files in the other folders, say .mozilla/cache, etc. are much more in number. Can someone please tell me which of these files can be safely deleed ( like disk-cleanup in windows? ) -thanks! -maneesh deleting unnecessary files - anyweb - 2008-08-15 you can safely empty the mozilla cache in mozilla firefox itself, then check the actual directory where it was stored after doing so |
