noob/newb? - Dungeon-Dave - 2008-09-24 Just a quick hello from a new member (newb) but (possibly) not from a Linux noob... .. but then, that depends upon your point of view, eh? noob/newb? - hybrid - 2008-09-25 Hi, and welcome to Linux-Noob. :) noob/newb? - Dungeon-Dave - 2008-09-25 Cheers, fellah - still working my way around the many helpful guides n stuff here! noob/newb? - hybrid - 2008-09-25 Quote:Cheers, fellah - still working my way around the many helpful guides n stuff here! I have to say you're doing a pretty awesome job at answering threads no-one else has - thanks for jumping right in and putting in loads of input. :) noob/newb? - Dungeon-Dave - 2008-09-25 Gahhh.. another one that uses the word "awesome"...! :P Thanks for noticing! I originally aimed at those with no follow-up.. only to find later that many of my answers were aimed at much older posts so could have expired, unfortunately! Is there some auto-expire or auto-close feature of IPB to lock threads after a pre-determined period of inactivity? noob/newb? - anyweb - 2008-09-26 nope but point out any thread that's closed that you might want to answer in and myself or hybrid can reopen it if necessary cheers anyweb |
