Lost root password (lilo) - Digerati - 2003-12-15
This should do it.
Reboot the machine.
When the LILO: prompt comes up, type in linux single.
This starts your gateway in single user maintenance mode.
You can reset your password by typing passwd.
Reboot the machine and you should be sorted.
