up2date slow as a donkey ? - anyweb - 2004-02-20
if like me your fedora up2date is slowwwwwwwwwwwww then try a different mirror
you'll need to edit a file called
/etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources
the default file is below fyi:-

### for packages. It currently supports apt-rpm repos, yum repos,
### and "dir" repos
### format is one repo entry per line, # starts comments, the
### first word on each line is the type of repo.
