router settings - enigma - 2004-04-16 need help to configure this for my web router settings - anyweb - 2004-04-16 heres the screenshot <a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/post-11-1082109772.jpg" data-fileid="104">[img]<fileStore.core_Attachment>/post-11-1082109772.jpg[/img]</a> router settings - anyweb - 2004-04-16 just forward port 80 to the local ip address of your computer for example if the local ip address is 192.168.0.6 then forward port 80 to that ip hth cheers anyweb router settings - enigma - 2004-04-16 Ok i tried making my local ip address for this computer 192.168.xxx.xxx which would mean i switch from the primary (port 1 on the router) to the second port and the other computer into port 1 for administration right, the other computer cannot gain access to be administrator of the router. So in short my computer has to be primary on this router and the ip address does not start with 192.168... and in the configuration under Fowarding rules /Virtual server - all ip addresses begin with 192.168... now is there any way around this because you can check my ip on IRC and it would seem as if i have the modems ip instead of being asigned one from the router thanks for the help :) |
