dumb desktop shortcut question - Steelgrave - 2004-05-23 Ok here's what I'm trying to do. I'd like to have a shortcut on my gnome desktop that I dbl-click on it and it open up the web folder (/var/www/html). I'm running fedora Core2, pretty vanilla install (default gnome etc..) I imagine this is a simple to do but I can't for the life of me figure out how, thanks. dumb desktop shortcut question - anyweb - 2004-05-23 hi right click on your desktop and choose 'create launcher' in the 'command field' put nautilus /var/www/html give it a name like 'var' and choose an icon if you want save it and double click on it ! cheers anyweb dumb desktop shortcut question - Steelgrave - 2004-05-23 hahaha damn I figured it was something simple...
