OpenOffice - lia - 2005-02-09 Ok, so i want to be able to watch .pps (powerpoint, I presume) files and was suggested to that OpenOffice might help with that, since I am using Fedora Core 3. I downloaded : OOo_1.1.4_LinuxIntel_install.tar.gz *noob alert* What shall I do with it? Shall I write something in terminall? what? Is there, perhaps, a nicely written document on how to install it, step by step? :P Thanks in advance =) /lia OpenOffice - xDamox - 2005-02-09 Hi lia, Fedora Core 3 has openOffice ported with it if you run the following command: Code: /usr/bin/system-config-packages Once that has loaded up you should see a selection called office/productivity click details and in there you will see open office and tick it then click close then finally click update. Now you have open office installed ;) |
