Mounting Samba Share - kingttx - 2005-09-10 Have you wanted to easily mount a Samba share without using the command line? Sacrilege, I know, but the following how-to might be helpful. It does make assumptions that you have a working Samba or Windows server on your local network and that you have a valid username and password for that share. Also, be sure you have administrative rights on your local computer. Enjoy! I had tried Smb4k, Linneighborhood, couple of others, but this seems to be the most integrated (naturally since it is part of Mandriva). Thanks! I'll have more coming as I think of them.
