Xgl on Fedora? - hybrid - 2006-06-23 Does anyone know of an easy way to install Xgl/Compiz on Fedora 5 without grabbing from CVS and compiling etc? I have done some compiling actually, but I tend not to do it on my main machine, it causes weird things to happen (I think it's something hardware-related). Be careful, though, if you're a fast but inaccurate typer (like me). It seems that Shift-Backspace is a new keyboard shortcut to kill X - that got me a bit stumped at first. Xgl on Fedora? - hybrid - 2006-07-05 If anyone is having the Shift-Backspace issue, I found a fix. Run: Code: xmodmap -e "keycode 22 = BackSpace" You will have to run this at every logon, however.
