Flash Player 9 for Linux beta - hybrid - 2006-10-19
Adobe have released Flash Player 9 for Linux Beta.
See the post on the Penguin.SWF blog and download the beta now!
Using it here on FC5 and it absolutely rocks!
(Note to newbies:
to install, you need to copy the file libflashplayer.so contained in the .tar.gz file to your browser plugins folder.
For Firefox, this is usually either
/usr/lib/firefox/plugins
or
/usr/lib/firefox-1.5.0.x/plugins
or
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
Do that as root then restart Firefox to enjoy).
