Enabling Desktop Effects in FC6 w/ ATi RS482? - Lateralus - 2006-10-25
Howdy,
I'm a super Linux n00b here and need some help.
I'm trying to enable Desktop Effects in Fedora Core 6 but I'm told that Desktop Effects cannot be enabled. I've been told in passing that I need to install the ATi Open Source Driver.
Not only do I not know where to get it, but I wouldn't know how to install it even if I did. I can't even manage to install Firefox 2 at the moment. :P
Anyways, help in the form of a nice little step by step would be greatly appreciated.

have you tried downloading and installing the linux drivers from [/url]http://www.ati.com ?
