Sorry but I cannot help you with the amount of information you give. z0ny orinoco gold wireless - c_lisp - 2004-08-21 How did you get www.linux-wlan.org installed on fedora? I get errors. orinoco gold wireless - Guest - 2004-08-23 Im not sure about your orinoco card, but the drivers my orinoco card uses are orinoco-cs, orinoco, and hermes - along with the pcmcia-cs package. All you have to do is modprobe orinoco, orinoco-cs, and hermes. Then walah, iwconfig should show your wireless extensions. Then just dhclient or ifconfig your interface and you should have connectivity. orinoco gold wireless - Guest - 2004-08-23 If you do need wlan for you card, apt-cache search wlan, you can just apt them so you dont have to worry about compiling errors. orinoco gold wireless - c_lisp - 2004-08-24 I did apt-cache search wlan. I didn't get sucessful or anyting it just went back to the command prompt does this mean im good? |
