just delete the /listen.pls bit of the url and it'll work
so if the site you are trying to listen to is
[/url]http://radio.bmj.net:8000/listen.pls
change it to
[url=http://radio.bmj.net:8000]http://radio.bmj.net:8000
and it will work in xmms
