ok.. more information is needed....   what are the properties.. tell me them...   what is the application, whats the command line you are using to try to start it   did you create the icon, or is it a default ...   more info more info [img]<___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_laugh.png[/img]

look at the properties of the icon, maybe it points to a program already uninstalled?   also stick the contents of the icon properties up, tell us the distro too :)

For some reason when i double click on an icon it wont open. it seems to try and then just quits.   any ideas?
