I ran an in-place upgrade of my 32-bit Ubuntu 11.04 system to 11.10. It seems to have gone very smoothly indeed!

Very App Store-ish. Some will find that familiar and it will make it easier to use. Some will hate it (and the promotion of proprietary apps to the store.)

Disappointingly, LibreOffice still does not inherit the global menu bar. [img]<___base_url___>//public/style_emoticons/default/sad.png[/img]

All in all, it's looking good. I will continue to have an explore of the new features as I get more familiar with the new release!
