Hi I'm Don. I recently converted over to Linux's Ubuntu 7.10 from Xp. It's a dual boot for now until I manage to get everything I need for linux. Definately having a hard time installing or loading apps. If anyone knows of good tutorials for this. Send that link my way!
welcome to the forums. take linux one step at a time, it's foolish to expect to get everything working immediately
now, what application would you like to install first ?
I would like to get Beryl 0.20 loaded. Trying to find resources to help step by step is a little hard.

I noticed since it is installed that my shortcut keys on my keyboard dont work now and my resolution has changed. I take it that beryl requires all 3d graphics available to make it work properly!
